What are Guides?

Your guides, your spiritual Guides, beautiful souls who most likely have lived multiple lives on Earth in the past, are there to help us develop and grow. Your guides make arrangements with us before our incarnation here on Earth to assist us in our life journey. They know our past and the themes of our lives. Your guides give you warnings and bring you comfort and healing.

Our guide communicate with us from the day we are born in different ways, depending on our ability to hear, see and feel their presence. Some people consider this 'voice' to be their inner voice of consciousness, but it is more likely to be their Spiritual Guide that they hear through their built-in connection to Higher Spheres. When a person's abilities are heightened, the possibilities for Guides to communicate with them greatly increase. Along with the healing energy levels and the ability to heal body and mind.

Children are often able to hear their Guides' warnings, but they can also hear laughter that way. Once I wrote down the name of a guide who spoke to me for a woman I was going to do a reading for. I read it to her when she came in and she told me this was the same name she gave her doll as a child. I believe this was possible because she was able to receive her guide's messages clearly. That happened because she was most likely psychic. She was also able to receive a lot of energy, which I attribute to being in her  was sitting. She said she could always feel this presence around her, but she didn't know how to ask for help. It had held her back for a long time from seeking other people to answer her questions about the metaphysical and the paranormal.

So how do we choose our Guides and why do we make these 'soul contracts' with them so that they can guide us here? Karma and past lives are sometimes the main reason to associate with such souls. A soul who agrees to become a spiritual guide may also have certain 'soul knowledge' and resonate at a higher level, which can be invaluable to one's life themes and lessons.

Your guides and Angels are very different in their missions here and vibrate at different energy levels, but often they work together in emergencies. Your guides may seem much more Earthbound because they work so closely with us, but Angels are more advanced. Your guides may call upon Angels to assist if you are unable to consciously do this for yourself.

Although your guides provide you with much insight and information about your life, they cannot always interfere with us or give us exact instructions. They can help us understand our possibilities in this life, but they won't always tell us which path to take. We still have our free will and other cosmic guidance to consider. We are here to learn our soul lessons and if it were so easy for our guide to tell us exactly what to do, what's the point?

Along with our spiritual guides , we have Healing Guides who help us receive energy when we are in physical, spiritual or emotional need. When I give a reading to someone, I almost always get information from healing souls that surround someone. These souls are often loved ones and friends who have passed on and who help us in times of crisis of health and trauma. I have also been told that everyone is born with certain healing guides, but other guides are added later on as they transition into the light.

I always recommend anyone who wants to work with channeling energy to connect with their guides and protect themselves with Ascension exercises, meditation and prayer. These exercises can help ensure that you are only working with souls who will help you in this life. A person who practices Ascension Meditation and is attuned will enjoy the protection of legions of Light-bearing souls! They have access to the knowledge of Holy and Ascended Masters who love us deeply and unconditionally. We are all one.
